JOHN STONE
BRYANT, AL: John Hope Stone, age 80, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was a member of Straightway Baptist Church in Bryant, AL. and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and three sons.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lois Ellis Stone, two sons, Larry Brown (Norma) and Joe John Stone; three daughters, Sherry Townsend (Lee), Belle Morrison (Dewayne) and Kathy Buckles and one sister, Sharon Jean Parrish, along with 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM EDT Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother David Marona and Pastor Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will be held in Straightway Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM EDT Wednesday 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM
