TRENTON GA: Jewell “Gus” Edward Smith, age 90 passed away, Saturday, September 27, 2014. He was retired from KENCO, Chattanooga, TN and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Manervia Scott Smith; daughter, Manervia Sue Smith; sons, Pete (Janie) Smith, Jay Merrill (Imogene) Smith, Jamie Dewey Smith and Brent (Mary Jo) Smith;sister, Lorene Farmer; brother, Olen (Ann) Smith; fifteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM EDT Monday, September 29, 2014 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Gary Bone officiating. Interment will be held in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday 1:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EDT
Monday 12:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM EDT
