Jason "Jay" Elliott

Jason “Jay” Lee Elliott, age 52, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2023 at his residence in Bryant, AL. Born on September 29, 1970 in Okeechobee, Florida to Harry "Sonny" Elliott and the late Patricia Beecham Jones, Jason leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.

Jason will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and cherished Papa. He held an unwavering affection for his family and considered them his greatest treasure. His role as a dedicated Papa held a special place in his heart, and the joy he found in spending time with his beloved grandchildren was immeasurable.

He was a man of many talents. Whenever something needed fixing within the family circle, Jason was the go-to handyman. His resourcefulness and inventive mind were truly remarkable. From fixing leaky faucets to crafting ingenious contraptions, Jason's abilities were truly remarkable.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Knaby Elliott; daughters, Harlie Elliott and Kearstyn (Andrew) Turner; son, Randyn Davenport; his father, Sonny Elliott; sisters, Judy Shipman, Cris (Mark) Mattson), Chrissy Wooters, and Alice; brothers Skip (Gail) Elliott, Carl (Cecilia) Elliott, Bopper Jones, and Corrie Thomas. His grandchildren Bentley, Brantley, Layia, Liam, Greathon, Britton, Amillia, and Cohen brought immense joy to his life. He will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a great many friends.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his son, Rustyn Davenport.

A viewing will be held for family and friends at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (et).
