RISING FAWN, GA: Janice K. (Woods) Payne, age 68, of Rising Fawn, GA. went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Estelee Woods, sister Velva Melton, and brother Hugh Woods.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years, Leonard “Bozo” Payne, son Donald (Christie) Payne, daughter Gena (Paul) Williams, son Tony (Tina) Payne, daughter Bridgett (Mark) Coley, daughter Shannon (Jimmy) Norman. She is also survived by sister Karen (Roger) Woods, sister Sharon Tyler, brother Micheal Woods, sixteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM EDT Friday, July 24, 2015, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Gene Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Friday 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
