Mr. James Wright

April 16, 1942 — September 2, 2021

BRYANT, AL.: James Monroe Wright, age 79, passed away September 2, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cherished his family and friends. James loved farming and mowing. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and North Sand Mountain Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Annie Lou Wright, granddaughter Aubrianna Jade Deerman, brother Robert Wright.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Delray Dobbins Wright; daughter Sandra (Jeff) Wright Deerman; grandchildren Tyler Wright, Austin Deerman, and Kaden Deerman; sisters Patricia Ann (Bobby) White, Barbara (Dennis) York, Martha Sue (Leon) Wright; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, AL. with Brother Glenn York and Brother Jimmy Hixon officiating. He will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM EDT and on Sunday 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT.
