James Thomas Gatlin

TOMMY GATLIN WHITESIDE, TN: James Thomas Gatlin Sr. went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2014.  He was a loving son,  husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend that loved playing golf, fishing ,coaching baseball and softball.  He was a born again Christian and attended Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Cecil Gatlin Sr. Survivors include his mother Cora Gatlin; loving wife of 48 years Frankie Brown Gatlin; daughters and son-in-law Dawn Gatlin Fuller and Gene, Shasta Gatlin Webster; son James (J.J.) Gatlin, Jr. and wife Dawn; sister Mary Sue and Tommy Moses; brothers Bobby and Beth Gatlin; Smitty and Patsy Gatlin; 5 grandchildren John Condra, Brody Gatlin, Blaine Fuller, Jacy Gatlin, Britton Webster; nieces and nephews; host of friends; Special Cousin Ike Whited. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM EST Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Gene Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Long, Robert Long, Johnny Long, Harold Hyde, Billy Geren, and Gary Jackson. Visitation Thursday and Friday 12PM ~ 8PM.
