JACKIE GRANT
BRYANT, AL: Jackie Grant, age 61, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013. A lifelong resident of Bryant, AL, Jackie was a devoted husband, father, Papa, and son that loved his family with Godly, unconditional love. He enjoyed fishing and music, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his special grandchildren.
Jackie worked twenty-three years at Economy Honda and three years at Blood Assurance.
Mr. Grant was preceded in death by his father Henry (Peck) Grant, grandparents George and Vandie Leonard, William and Jennie Grant.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-two years, Margaret Grant; daughter Scarlett (Rob) Hannah; son Chad (Shelly) Grant; mother Eula Grant, five grandchildren Hannah Grant, Dylan Grant, Mattie Hannah, Luke Hannah, T. J. Upton, and a host of friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 30, at 2:00 PM EDT at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Pike, Rev. Chad Grant, and Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM EDT
