BRYANT AL: Ivelean “Winnie” Knight Downer, age 58 formerly of Dade County passed away, Friday September 28, 2012. She was employed by U.S. Postal Service, Shelbyville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Tinnie Knight; son, Kyle Downer; daughter, Kristie Downer; brother, Imon Jackson “Jack” Knight.
Survivors include her sons, Blake Downer and Tyler Downer both of Shelbyville, Tennessee; sisters, Idora Thomas, Imogene Ausmus, Ila Mae Hill, Inez Hartline, Ive Spears, Iola Gaddis and Ina Faye Jones; brothers, Ivalee Knight and Ivan Knight.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM EST Sunday, September 30, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Walker officiating. Burial will be held in Higdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday 4:00 PM EST ~ 8:00 PM Sunday 12;00 PM ~ 4:00 PM EST
