HIGDON, AL: Hazel Marie Pritchett was born September 21, 1927 and left us too soon on January 6, 2015 after a brief illness. She was a graduate of Daughters of American Revolution, Class of 1947. She married Cleo Pritchett May 31, 1947. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, loving her family and life. She attended Higdon Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Pritchett, son Roger Pritchett, son-in-law Harold Sampson, granddaughter Amy Sampson, parents Ed and Myrtle Hill, four sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include her children Edith Cooper, (Donnie), Sandy Sampson, Sheron Carrell (Ronnie), Dianne Pritchett, Debra Brown, Rodney Pritchett, Greg Pritchett (Melinda), Eric Pritchett and sister Brenda Bevel (Thomas); sisters- in-law Donna Hill, Sue Shadden, Vida Cooper, Brenda Sealey, brothers-in-law Charndle and Carlon Pritchett; twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; plus several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 10, 2015 at the Higdon Holiness Church with Brother Edwin Spurgeon and Bro. Alton Willmon officiating. Interment will follow in Higdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday 4:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel ; Friday 4:00 ~ 9:00 PM at Higdon Holiness Church; Saturday 1:00 ~ 2:00 PM EST at Higdon Holiness Church.
