HAZEL MCMAHAN
TRENTON, GA: Hazel Virginia Dowdey McMahan, age 82 a loving mother and grandmother passed away, Friday, November 13, 2015. She was a big supporter of Dade County sports and loved nothing better than to watch her husband, children and grandchildren playing. She was retired from Dade County School System. She was a Baptist.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Julia Dowdey; husband, Roy McMahan; daughters, Debra “Dinkle” McAdams and Robbye Trantham; sisters, Cora Dowdey, Rosalie Culp and Gracie Wayner; brothers, Howard Dowdey and Charles Dowdey.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Linda Steele; sons, Steve McMahan, Reggie McMahan and Greg McMahan; sister, Louise Hayes; brothers, Floyd Dowdey and Bobby Dowdey; twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews and other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Atkins officiating. Burial will be held in Hannah Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM
