HATTIE WOOTEN
NEW SALEM: Hattie Mae Wooten age 87 daughter of the late Marion and Blanch Cochran departed this life, Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain and was a member of Ascalon Baptist Church. Hattie’s greatest talents were her patience, kindness to Christ and quilting.
Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Jiles Wooten; son, Marty Wooten; son-in-law, David Wimpee.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Wimpee, son, Patrick (Judy) Wooten; sisters, Sarah (Bill) Hammontee, Dorothy Goins, Ann Wallin and Lorene Barnes; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend David Brown officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation Tuesday 3:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM and Wednesday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM
