He was preceded in death by his father, Lester B Evers.
Survivors include son and fiancé, Brandon Evers and Rachel Gatlin; mother, Roberta Evers; sisters, Jean Payne, Kathy Rogers, Vella Thornhill; brothers, Clarence Evers and Terry Evers; one grandchild, Brenda Evers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Friday, July 19, 2013 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Bryant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM EDT
