FLAT ROCK, AL.: Grady Paul Junior Millican, age 64, passed away, Friday, August 24, 2012. He was a 1966 graduate of Dade County High School, a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran and retired from TVA. He was a great father full of adventure that taught his children to enjoy the simple things in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Ethel Millican; brother, Charles (Sonny) Millican and sister Idalene Sharpton.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Ida Millican; one daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Barton Jackson, Fairbault, Minnesota; son and daughter-in-law, Zack and Kimberly Millican, Boston, Massachusetts; sisters, Mary Louise Watkins, Bryant, Alabama, Peggy Webb, Harrison, Tennessee, Shirley Johnson, Charleston, Tennessee and Patricia Lynskey, Pearland, Texas; two grandchildren, Kara (Clint) Cooper, Bryce Liam Jackson; one great grandchild, William Cayden Cooper; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM EST, Monday August, 27, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Carliss Clinton officiating. Burial will follow in Maxwell Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday 1:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EST and Monday 10:00 AM ~ 11:30 AM EST.
