Grace Ogas Todd, a resident of Rising Fawn, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 72.
Grace was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended Lookout Mountain Assembly of God and enjoyed the fellowship with her brothers and sister in Christ. She was a graduate of Southern Adventist University, where she received her master's degree and enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a Nurse Practitioner. She was an advocate for women and strived to be a positive Christian role model toward everyone. Grace loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors. She was always outgoing and never met a stranger. Aside from her professional career, she also volunteered with the Dade County GOP.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Eleanor Mixter, as well as a nephew, Andrew Robert Mixter.
Survivors include her children, Teresa Jeanne (Jake) Johnsson, Thomas Joshua (Petra) Ogas, Terry James (Christina) Ogas and Todd Jeremiah (Laura) Ogas; her sister, Jean Kay (Jim) Newman and brothers, Bruce Robert (Julie) Mixter, Neal Norbert (Bunny) Mixter as well as 7 loving grandchildren, Caoilainn, Lars, Jonah, Savannah, Alison, Astrid and Xander.
A memorial service to celebrate Grace's life will be held at 4:00 PM on April 13, 2025 at Lookout Mountain Assembly of God with Pastor Gene Strauss officiating. The family will also hold a memorial service for Grace on April 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM PDT at First Presbyterian Church of Exeter, California.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Hearth Hospice for their devoted care and compassion during Grace's final days.
