CHATTANOOGA, TN: Glenn Everett Gass, 82, of Lookout Valley, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital.
Glenn attended Lookout Valley Baptist Church. He was retired from Brock Candy Company after more than forty years of service. He enjoyed gardening, watching stock car races and the Atlanta Braves, but his greatest pleasure was in visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bertha Mae Gass; brothers Alvin, Cecil and Joseph Gass; sisters Hazel Whitley, Alice Buchanan and Dorothy Wade.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Gass; daughters Alva (Albert) LaMontagne of Chattanooga and Debra (Anthony) Sklanka of Atlanta; grandchildren Scottie, Theodore and Halie Sklanka; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM EDT Friday, October 12, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Walliser officiating. Burial will be held at Brown’s Gap Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EDT Thursday, 12:00 ~ 1:00 PM EDT Friday.
