Glenda Carol Marler

Glenda Carol Marler, aged 73, of Trenton, Georgia, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2025.

A graveside service to honor Glenda’s life will take place on Thursday, March 6th at 1:00 PM at Miller Cemetery in Rising Fawn, Georgia, with Pastor Chris Hagler officiating.

Glenda was born on December 6, 1951, to the late Monroe and Christine Marrow Powell in Rising Fawn, Georgia. She brought joy and love into the lives of those around her. Glenda was a devoted gardener, passionate about planting and nurturing a variety of plants. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and especially treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie (Jerome) Millican and Adrian (Carla) Castleberry; sisters Wanda (Bobby) Williams and Patsy (Smitty) Gatlin; along with her grandchildren, Madison (Davis) Brown, Justin Castleberry, Kailyn "KK" Castleberry, and Peyton Castleberry. Glenda also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory dear.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Wayne Powell, Jackie Morgan, Linda Ann Blevins, and Brenda Hatmaker.

Glenda’s warmth, kindness, and love will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
