Mr. Gerland Lee Gass

Gerland Lee Gass, 77, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

He was born March 29, 1943 in Higdon, AL to the late Wilburn “Doodle” and Louvenia Lowery Gass. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Gerland’s greatest passions were family, fishing and Alabama football.

In addition to his parents, Gerland was preceded in death by his stepmother, Roxie Holley Gass and sister, Margaret Holland.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Sally Gass; daughters, Anna (Hank) Pitts and Mestisa Gass; sisters, Betty Wooten, Marie Hotchkiss, Kathryn Painter, Barbara White and Eulene Cloud; brothers, Charles Pete Gass and Jim Pardue; grandchildren, Brian, Payton, Stone and Willa Pitts.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Friday February 26, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA. He will be laid to rest at Brown Gap Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 and on Friday from 12:00 – 2:00.
