George Donaldson

TRENTON, GA: George Clayton “G.C.” “Whiz” Donaldson, age 74, passed away on November 7, 2021. He was a brick mason by trade. George loved his family and was always there if anyone needed him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Foshee; daughter, Sherry Pike; grandson, Ethan Reeves; parents, George and Pauline Donaldson; brothers, Glenn Moore, Franklin Donaldson; sister, Lena Whitmore.

Survivors include his daughters, Barbara (Steve) Harrison, Fort Payne, AL and Wanda (Lester) Rivenbark, North Carolina; sons, Charles (Meshaell) Foshee, Knoxville, TN, Raymond (Sheila Foshee, Alabama; Ben (Renee) Foshee, Rainsville, AL; sisters, Patsy (Joe) Weathers, Barbara (Jim) Garrett, Bertha Donaldson; eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA with Brother Mark Finlayson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Hanna Cemetery in Rising Fawn, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
