BRYANT AL: Fred Hicks, age 76, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020. Fred loved fishing and being outside with his great-grandson Asher. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Hicks, Sr. and Beulah Hicks; brothers Logan, Ray, Clarence and James Hicks.
Survivors include his loving family, wife of 59 years, Mary Hicks; daughters Debbie (Kenneth) Arrington, Bryant, AL and Sheila (Chris) Yetter, Chattanooga, TN; brother Clem (Shirley) Hicks, Bryant, AL; five grandchildren Stacey and Brittany Arrington, Christopher, Beth, and Nick Yetter; great grandson Asher Hicks Arrington; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will be held in the Bryant Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM EDT.
