SUE BUFFINGTON
TRENTON, GA: Sue Morgan Buffington, age 66, went home to be with the Lord and her husband, Jesse, on August 5, 2014. Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, Grammy, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her three precious grandkids. She was an active member of Trenton First Baptist Church.
Sue opened J.B.’s Variety Store with her husband in October 1998, where she enjoyed meeting and talking with all her special customers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jesse Buffington; infant son, Dewayne Buffington, parents Frank and Pearl Morgan and brother Jim Morgan.
She is survived by her three daughters Barbie (Cory) Evans, Bryant, AL; Robyn (Adam) Mashburn, Trenton, GA; and Jessica (Brian) Geselbracht, Chattanooga, TN.; three grandchildren, Sidney Geselbracht, Sam Evans, and Jesse Geselbracht; sisters, Evelyn Wells, FL; Lois Daughtery, Trenton; Linda (Gerald) Sims, Bryant; Jewel (Mack) Greeson, NC; brothers Joe Morgan, NC; Travis (Judy) Morgan, TX; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM EDT at Trenton First Baptist Church with Bro. Dewayne Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 2PM ~ 8PM at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home; Saturday 12PM ~ 2:00 PM at Trenton First Baptist Church.
