Fran Lynn Harrison

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Fran Lynn Harrison, 74, of Trenton, GA. Fran passed away on May 12th, 2023 at CHI Memorial Chattanooga. She was born on October 29th, 1948, in Chickamauga, Georgia to the late Jimmy and Dorothy Holcomb. Fran was the loving wife of Frank D. Harrison.

Fran will be greatly missed by her surviving family, her daughter, Karen (Phillip) Etherton and son, David (Renea) Harrison; sister, Sharon Holcomb; brothers, Steven and Scott Holcomb. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Zachary Harrison, Draven Harrison, Austin Brown, Greyson Brown, and Heather Tishaw; as well as her great-grandchildren, Kyler Harrison, Kyson Harrison and Kyleigh Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harrison and step-mother, Pat Holcomb.

Fran was an upbeat and enthusiastic person with a smile on her face. She had a heart of gold and always took care of others. Her caring personality made everyone feel loved and appreciated.

Fran's proudest accomplishment in life was taking care of her family. She was always there for them through thick and thin. In addition to being an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Fran had a successful career as co-owner of 301 Superlube in Trenton.

In her free time she enjoyed canning her own produce from the garden that she tended so lovingly. Fran was also an avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed watching some of her favorite TV shows like Andy Griffith and Young Sheldon.

One of Fran's happiest memories was the trips to Panama City Beach for family vacations. These wonderful memories will live on through her loved ones who will cherish them forever.

Funeral services will be held to honor the memory of Fran's life at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Wayne Winters officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Brown Gap Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

Fran will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and her unwavering love for the people in her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
