FLORA GRAY
NEW SALEM: Flora “Flo” B. Gray, age 87, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. She was an active member of New Salem Baptist Church and was retired from Trenton Drugs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. “Bill” Gray, sons Billy Gray and Denny Gray, parents Harvey Anderson and Ozella Simpson Bearden; sisters Mary E. Cook, Frances Wimpee; and brother H. A. Bearden, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca (Roger) Vann, daughters-in-law Sue Gray and Faye Gray; grandchildren Teresa (Kenny) Barrett,(parents of Ethan and Kristin); Cynthia ((Mark) Daniels, (parents of Luke and Loran); Kenny (Amanda) Gray, (parents of Jordan, Austin, Kaylei, and Kaden); Vanessa (Scotty) Black, (parents of Vanson and Grayson); Valicia Mason, (mother of Houston); Michael (Debra) Gray, (parents of Turner and Ryne); Richard (Julie) Gray (parents of Gunar and Gage); two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Friday, September 12, 2014 at New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Hixon officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Don Bailey, David Hood, Eddie McBryar, Jim Blaylock, Doug McBryar, Allan Bradford, David Bailey, and Tommy Womack. Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies of the Deborah Sunday School Class which she attended.
Visitation will be held Thursday 5:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Friday 12:00 ~ 2:00 at New Salem Baptist Church.
