FANNIE ADAMS
TRENTON, GA: Fannie Mae Adams, age 85 passed away, Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was an active member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
Better known as “Aunt Fannie” to those that knew her in the community. Served in the Air Force and retired Civil Service employee from Dobbin Air Force Base in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated Marietta High School of 1949.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Essie Clackum of Marietta, GA; husband, John Adams and sisters, Daisy Hudson, Mary Akridge and Martha Powell.
Survivors include her son, Pat Adams and daughter–in-law, Cindy of Virginia and step sons, Michael and Howard Adams of Mississippi; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A resident of Marietta, Georgia for 42 years, she visited Dade County in 2003 after the passing of her mother and fell in love with the people and the community, she decided to make this her new found home and never looked back!
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM EDT Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 5:30 ~ 7:00 PM
Graveside service will be held will be held 11:00 AM EDT Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, GA
