NEW SALEM: Evvie Lou McSpadden, age 93 born June 1, 1919 passed away, Friday, February 15, 2013. She was a resident of New Salem over 50 years and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norton McSpadden; daughter, Mildred Hales and son, Norton McSpadden, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca McSpadden and sister, Cybil Lindsey; two grandsons, William David Hales and Alan Lee Hales, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM EDT Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend David Brown and Tom Grady officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2:00 ~ 3:00 PM EDT
