ELWANDA MASHBURN
BRYANT, AL: Elwanda Black Mashburn, age 88, passed away on January 3, 2020. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was of the Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Mashburn, parents Walter and Roda Black, several brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Doyce) Holman of Flat Rock, AL.; sons Lamar (Teresa) Mashburn, Rossville, GA; Dennis Mashburn, Bryant, AL; five grandchildren Kevin Holman, Brian Holman, James Mashburn, Christy Morrison, and Courtney Fields; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Jean Nix, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2020 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Winters officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Monday from 10:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM EST.
