ELOISE DODSON
HIXSON, TN: Eloise Pennington Dodson, age 88, passed away March 14, 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother and dedicated homemaker. She was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Leota Moore Pennington.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Robert Dodson; sons Jeff (Lara) Dodson and Kevin Dodson; sisters Delores West (Earle) and Faye Shook; eleven grandchildren ~ Britton, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Christian, Jeffery, Madeleine, Gretchen, Harrison, Autumn, and Reagan; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM EDT at the New Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Jodie Ihfe officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00 ~ 8:00 PM EDT at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church on Friday from 1:00 PM until time of service.
