APISON TN: Edna Jones West, age 78 passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was retired from 1st National Bank, Higdon, AL and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She loved make people laugh and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman West; parents, Roosevelt “Ted” and Stella Barnes; brother, Jack Barnes and sister, Evelyn Fricks.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bobby Phillips, Apison, TN; sons and daughter-in-laws, Jerry and Pat Jones and Ronnie and Teresa Jones all of Bryant, AL; five grandchildren, Kami Green, Cassie Miles, Nick Poe, Katie Merriman and Heath Jones; seven great grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial will be held 12:30 PM EDT Wednesday February 27, 2013 at Payne’s Gap Cemetery with Brother Steve Townson and Brother Todd Smith officiating.
Visitation Wednesday 10:00 AM ~ 12:00 PM EDT at Moore Funeral Home, Trenton, GA
