Ed Mcgee

Edward Lloyd McGee, of Trenton, GA, formerly of Ooltewah, TN, born Sept. 18, 1953, passed away at home, on June 18, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd, and mother, Edna McNabb McGee and dear wife, Kathleen Chastain McGee, who he was married to from 1973 to 2006.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl McGee, daughter, Tracey (Ben Futransky) McGee, son, Brandon McGee, and stepdaughter, Hannah (Jarrod) Justice, and sisters, Kathy LaShawn (Edward) Carroll, and Sharon (Gerry) Benson. He had three grandchildren, Jase, Graham, and Callie and numerous nephews and nieces.

Ed was a godly man, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his garden. Ed was a Castrol oil salesman, CPR trainer, and certified mine safety MSHA trainer.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home, Trenton, GA. He will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 21 from 4:00 – 8:00.
