ED HISE
NEW SALEM, GA: Herschel Edward Hise, age 68, passed away July 1, 2013. A lifelong resident of New Salem, Ed was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and enjoyed fishing and shopping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Marie Hise, brothers Prentice Hise and Spencer Hise.
Survivors include his daughters, Dottie Cagle and Tracey (Howard) McConnell; step son Travis Westbrooks; sisters Vonzelle Phillips, Margaret Hise, Carolyn (Steve) Fischer, Elizabeth (Bruce) Dockery, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews,a host of friends, and special canine companion Peaches.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM EDT Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Hixon and Bro. Jim Blaylock officiating. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 3:00 – 9:00 PM; Wednesday, 9:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM.
