Doyle Stone

Doyle Stone, age 86, of Trenton, GA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

A funeral service to honor Doyle's life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating. Following the service, Doyle will be laid to rest at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens.

Those who wish to pay their respects can visit with the family on Friday starting from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

In 1954, Doyle married the love of his life, JoAnn, and they shared nearly 70 beautiful years together. They were avid travelers who enjoyed exploring new roads and making memories along the way. Doyle was a beloved member of the community who loved to drink coffee with his friends. Throughout his career, he was the proud owner of Stone Trucking, providing services to poultry houses across the tri-state region. Family meant everything to Doyle, as did his dog Izzy, NASCAR races, and singing karaoke.

Doyle's memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife JoAnn Clark Stone; loving daughter Debra (Bob) Stone McNab; sons Randy Stone and Chris (Cindy) Stone; brother Ernest (Jane) Stone Jr.; grandson August McNab; step-granddaughters Andrea (Jim) Clark and Kristin (Tyler) Martin; step-great-grandchildren Anna Kate Clark, Jim Douglas Clark, John Wesley Martin, and Sissy Martin; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Una Belle Daniel Stone.

Doyle Stone will be remembered for his kindness, love for family and friends, and his passion for life. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
