Mr. Doyle Joseph Mashburn
October 21, 1951 — August 23, 2020
LOOKOUT MTN, GA: Doyle Joseph Mashburn, age 68, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Mr. Mashburn proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Rolling Thunder, The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the West Brow Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hazel Mashburn and sister, Renea Mahan.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife of 49 years, Linda Mashburn; daughters, Stacy (Mark) Wimpee, Tina (Kent) Franks and Heather (Tim) Sharp; sons, Adam (Robyn) Mashburn, Jonathan Mashburn; sisters, Wanda (Butch) Parker, Donna (James) Cooper, Sheila (Anthony) Richey, Darlene (Dallas) Howard; brother-in-law, Roy Mahan; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Private family funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Aaron Wooten, Brother Dallas Howard and Brother Kenny Finlayson officiating. Interment will be held in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM
We respectfully request that social distancing and all CDC Covid-19 measures are adhered to and masks are strongly encouraged.
