Mr. Derval Nixon

TRENTON, GA: Derval Wayne Nixon, age 86, passed away November 21, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Derval was a member of White Oak Baptist Church where he served as deacon and song leader.

He enjoyed golf, gardening, yard work, music, singing gospel music, Tennessee football and Atlanta Braves baseball.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jeff and Edna Nixon; sister Gladys Nixon.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 65 years, Linda Nixon; daughters Tammy (Tom) Potter, Annis (Mike) Howell, Michelle Crisp and friend Perry Leverett; seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00 ET in the Trenton Chapel with Brother Jeff Daniels officiating. He will be laid to rest in New Home Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM ET; Wednesday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
