Delilah Holcomb

Mattie Delilah Holcomb, age 73, of Trenton, GA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at her home. 

Delilah was the youngest of 10 children born to William Harley and Mattie Bell Mullins on December 17, 1950. She lived most of her life in Trenton, where she raised her two sons. During her life, she worked several jobs, one of her favorites being the owner of Video World. Her last job, and one she enjoyed the most, was working in the lunch room at Davis Elementary. 

A Funeral Service to honor Delilah's life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 12:00 PM ET in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Steve Moore officiating. Delilah will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. 

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 PM ET and on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

In addition to her parents, Delilah was preceded in death by her dear husband, "Boodle" Holcomb; her brothers, Wimp, Arvel, Bud, Lester, LC, and David; her sisters, Kathleen, Corene, and Shirley.   

Delilah is survived by her sons, Anthony (Connie) Mullins and Matthew Holcomb; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Mullins and Ryan D'Anna; great-granddaughter, Layla Blevins.
