Mr. David Leigh Halsey

FLAT ROCK, AL: David Leigh Halsey, age 72, passed away peacefully February 16, 2021 with loved ones by his side. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. David enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his family. He was a member of Full Gospel Community Church, Flat Rock, AL.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Halsey; son Todd Halsey; parents Edward and Myra Halsey.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Cindy Halsey; daughter Cristy (Rick) Hinnrichs, Trenton, GA.; grandchildren Justin Halsey, Brett Hinnrichs, Rachel Hamilton; great-grandchildren Braxton Halsey, Deklan Hinnrichs, Arianna Hamilton; sister Jeannette Spicer, Oswego, NY; brother Kenneth Halsey, Knoxville, TN.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EST in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM EST at Full Gospel Community Church, Flat Rock, AL.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Heart Lite Hospice of Scottsboro, AL. for their professional and loving care of David.

He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
