Darell Lebron Jones, Sr., 70, of Trenton, GA passed away on October 15, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM ET at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET and on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 9:30 AM until the funeral hour.
Darell was born in Chattanooga, TN on August 6, 1952. He was of the Baptist faith. He grew up in East Lake and graduated from Kirkman Technical High School. He was a member of the Lookout Valley Masonic Lodge and The Chattanooga Half-Century Club. Darell retired from Yale Carolinas after 40 years. He loved his family dearly! He also enjoyed antique cars, Old Westerns, and catfishing. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents who raised him; Cicero and Stella Green; stepsister, Lorena McGarvey; his birth parents, John E. and Vonda Jones; and sister, Julene Crane. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Donna Shelton Blaylock-Jones; sons, Lebron (Brooke) Jones, Tim (Donnell) Jones, James Blaylock; daughter Daniyale (Jason) Sweeton; brother, John (Diane) Jones; sister, Gayle Staples; step-brother, Tommy Baxter; grandchildren, Taylor (Jerica) Jones, Annsleigh Jones, Greyson Jones, Cassidy Jones, Tyler Blaylock, Mary Ashlyn Blaylock; great-granddaughter, Georgia Jones; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
