COTTON PORTER   CHATTANOOGA TN: Artis Thurman “Cotton” Porter, age 69 passed away, Saturday, March 29, 2014. He was a self employed logger and of the Baptist faith.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Nellie Porter; sisters, Evelyn Tishaw and Linda Faye Porter; brothers, Wendell Porter, J.D Porter; grandson, Aaron Britt, Jr.   Survivors  Evelyn Porter, daughters, Regina (Aaron) Britt and Jennifer (Travis) Carruth; sisters, Arthell Johnson, Teresa Young and Wanda Daniels and brother, Leon Porter; six grandchildren, Summer and Brandon Carruth and PV2 Canerdy, Ashley, Alison, Arianna Britt.   Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM EDT Monday March 31, 2014 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Aaron Britt officiating. Burial will be held in Payne Gap Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Sunday 1:00 PM EDT ~ 9:00 PM   Monday 12:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM         Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Bryant, Alabama
