CORA GATLIN
VALLEY HEAD, AL: Cora Bell Gatlin, age 92, passed away December 15, 2015. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed reading and was a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Bug” Gatlin; son Tommy Gatlin; parents Robert Grover Cleveland and Mamie Susan Dawkins; six brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Sue (Tommy) Moses, Sulphur Springs, AL.; sons Bobby (Elizabeth) Gatlin, Sulphur Springs, AL.; Smitty (Patsy) Gatlin, Rising Fawn, GA.; sister Mildred Ford, Harrison, TN.; daughter-in-law Frankie Gatlin, Whiteside, TN.; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EST Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother David Brown, Brother Gene Fuller, and Brother Joel Shiflett officiating. Burial will follow in Hanna Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Bobby, Jamey, Micky, Brad, and Nicholas Gatlin and Steve Blackmon.
Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Thursday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM
