CLYDE STEVENS
TRENTON, GA :Clyde J.”Doon” Stevens, age 77, passed away January 29, 2013. He was retired from the Dade County, GA roads department. A life-long resident of Dade County he enjoyed fishing and lawn mower repair. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Stevens, two brothers, Johnny Stevens and Henry Stevens.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce Gass Stevens; one daughter Teresa and husband Skip, son Stevie Stevens, step-son Jordan Cowan; sisters Ella Holt, South Pittsburg, TN; Edna Cox, Bridgeport, AL, Emily Cason, Trenton, GA; Joyce Cagle, Bryant, AL; one grandchild Brandon (Tank) Stevens.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EST Friday, February 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hixon officiating. Interment will be held in Shantytown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Thursday 3:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM ; Friday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM.
