Clyde Lavon Burson

CLYDE BURSON   FLAT ROCK AL. Clyde Lavon Burson, age 70 the son of the late Elmer Jackson and Edna Rae Burson born December 20, 1947 passed away Friday, March 9, 2018.  He was a 1967 graduate of Ider High School; a professional truck driver for Shaw Industries and member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter in law, Jackie Annette Burson He is survived by his wife, Patricia Carolyn Burson; two children and son in law, daughter, Crystal and Gary Dabbs and son, Richard L. Burson, grandson, Ethan Burson; three sisters, Charlotte Lancaster, Maxine Chapman and Sharon Hartline and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM EDT Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Tim White officiating. Burial will be held in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday 1:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM Sunday 10:00 AM ~ 3:00 PM
