Clyde Jennings Buffington

Clyde Jennings Buffington, 85, passed away Aug. 9, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a faithful member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Winnie Mae Buffington; brothers Bill, Milford, Herbert, Clifford, and Edward Buffington; sisters Elizabeth Davis and Edwina Ireland.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-four years, Shelby; sons and daughters-in-law Barry and Charlotte, Ricky and Karen, and Jeff and Carolyn Buffington; grandchildren Miranda (Luke) Kennamer, Blake (Tiffanie) Buffington, Robby (Alana) Buffington, Heather (Adam) Tuxbury; four great-grandchildren; sister Jaqualine Byers; brothers Ben (Judy) Buffington, Kermit (Dorothy) Buffington; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Rising Fawn Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Crider officiating. Burial will follow in Deer Head Cove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. The body will be moved to Rising Fawn Baptist Church Friday for viewing from 10-11 a.m.
