Charlotte Ann Jackson, aged 71, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at her home in the New Salem community of Rising Fawn, GA.
Charlotte was born on March 10, 1952, in Chattanooga, TN, and had called the North Georgia area her home throughout her life. Charlotte shared a loving relationship of fifty-eight years with her beloved husband and traveling buddy, Ray Jackson. Her radiant smile could illuminate any room, and her compassionate nature led her to constantly seek ways to bring joy to others. On Thursday morning at her home, Charlotte found peace as she embarked on a journey to reunite with Jesus, K.C., and many other cherished souls. She held a special place in her heart for her son Brent and treasured their long conversations over the phone. Additionally, she loved her church family at New Salem Baptist Church. It brings comfort knowing that we will soon be reunited in heaven.
A memorial service to celebrate Charlotte's life will be held on March 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at New Salem Baptist Church on Lookout Mountain with Brother Jim Hixon presiding.
Charlotte is survived by her devoted husband, Ray Jackson; son, Ray Brent Jackson; brothers, Timothy Adkins and Neal Adkins; step-father, Dennis Moore; as well as several other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, K.C. Marie Jackson; parents, Neil and Marie Boatner Adkins; and sister, Janet Adkins.
In honoring Charlotte's memory, let us embrace the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
