Mrs. Charlotte Finlayson

VALLEY HEAD, AL: Denver Charlotte "MeMaw" Finlayson, 85, went home to be with The Lord June 7, 2020. She was of The Holiness Faith for 63 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years Bryant Finlayson; grandson Arleigh Finlayson; parents Kenneth and Lorene Headrick; sister Betty Jean Hayes; brother Hilton Headrick.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Sandy (Bill) Sanford, Micah (Glenn) Kerby, Mark (Debbie) Finlayson, Kenny Finlayson, Jari (Rick) Hughes, Scott (Amy) Finlayson, Rod (Fiona) Finlayson, Carma (Wayne) Johnson, Jason (Marquita) Finlayson; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; three brothers Itsel Headrick, Denton (JoAnn) Headrick, Kensel (Laura) Headrick; four sisters Hattie Ball, Annettea (Gene) Cox, Sherri (Dicky) Parks, Jerri (Tommy) Caylor; nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in the Trenton Chapel with Brother Bobby House and Brother Doug Nance officiating. Burial will follow in the Finlayson Family Cemetery, Valley Head, AL.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 9th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM EDT and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM EDT.
