BRYANT, AL: Charles Wilson Bynum, age 78, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, January 26, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. Farming was an important part of his life. He was a member of Iron Worker Local #704 and Floral Crest Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Bernice Bynum; parents Meredith Hugh and Ada Rebecca Bynum; brother John Bynum.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Bynum and Phil Strok; Newport Coast, California; son and daughter-in-law Robin and Tammy Bynum, Bryant, AL; brothers Robert Bynum and Bill Bynum; grandchildren Brett, Briley and Brandon Bynum, Matthew Strok; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM EST Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Glass officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Friday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EST Saturday 12:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Floral Crest School, 1228 County Road 89, Bryant, Alabama 35958.
