C.D. WRIGHT
TRENTON, GA: C.D. Wright, age 79, passed away October 23, 2014 . He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that enjoyed his family, golf, fly fishing, and was once featured on the cover of the magazine “Field and Stream”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Icey Wright, brother Bill Wright, sister Joan Wright.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Betty Cooper Wright, daughter Angie ( Ron) Dean; sons Patrick C. (Allison) Wright; Kenny (Amy) Wright; sisters Helen Cooley, Catherine Dobbins; brothers Jimmy (Dona) Wright, Alan (Jean) Wright, nine grandchildren – Aaron, Lindsay, Alison, Heath, Jimmy, Kathrine, Ashton, Chase, and Madison; six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM EDT Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5681 Hwy. 301, Trenton, GA 30752, with Bro. Clay Moreland, Bro. Jimmy Hixon, and Bro. Allen Flowers officiating. Interment will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Friday 12:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at the funeral home Saturday 11:00 AM ~2:00 PM at the Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made The Gideons International, Dade County Gideons, P. O. Box 1309, Trenton, GA 30752, or Woodlawn Baptist Church Building Fund.
