Buddy Crawford

WILDWOOD, GA: Gordon C. “Buddy” Crawford, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was a resident of Dade County for fifty-six years and a member of New England Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the Army, Navy, and National Guard. Buddy was employed by DuPont for thirty-eight years. After retiring he liked to do gardening, wood working, but most of all playing with his great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Crawford; parents Gordon and Dorothy Crawford; great-grandson Emerson Crane; sisters Barbara Sherrill, Kay Morgan, and Diane McClinton. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Ralph) Griffith; son Gordon C. “Buzzy” Crawford, III; grandchildren Jonathan Stewart, Andrew Stewart, Samantha and Yale Crane, Brandon and Brandie Evans; great-grandchildren Nealey Stewart, Natalia Stewart, Alex Evans, Asher and Isaac Crane; sister Jean Hargis; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at Payne Cemetery on Saturday January 26th at 11:00 AM with Brother Jerry Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25th  4:00 PM~8:00 PM.
