BONNIE PALMER
CHATTANOOGA TN: Bonnie Jean Palmer, 72 passed away peacefully on Thursday February 20, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Bonnie spent 25 years in a nursing career dedicated to the elderly, retiring from Hamilton County Nursing Home.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her companion, Ronnie Pangle; her father, James David Ables; mother, Bonnie Frady; three brothers, Elsworth Ables, James Freeman Ables and David Ables as well as a nephew, Jody Frady.
Bonnie is survived by her two daughters, Margie Johnson, Chattanooga, TN and Kim (Jim) Gower, Virginia Beach, VA. Also left to cherish her memory is her granddaughter, Brandy Garganta, Virginia Beach, VA, who was her absolute pride and joy. Other survivors include a brother, Timothy Frady, Rock Springs, GA; sister, Giavonna Rodriguez, Ringgold, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as the Pangle Family.
The family wishes to thank Avalon Hospice for their excellent care and support to both Bonnie and her family. The family also wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Nurse Betty, who not only took excellent care of Bonnie but also provided her with love and friendship during her final days.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment 11:00 AM Monday, February 24, 2014 will be held in Lakewood Memory Gardens West.
Visitation will be held Saturday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM Sunday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM
