Bonnie Jeffery

Bonnie Maxine Jeffery, 89, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at her home in Trenton, GA.

A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Bonnie's life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 3:00 PM ET in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, led by Brother Eddie Cantrell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the start of the service. Following the service, Bonnie will be laid to rest at Payne Cemetery. 

Bonnie was a cherished member of her community, known for her sweet demeanor and independence. For several years, she served as the City Clerk for the Trenton City Government. To many, she was a "Nana," always ready to lend a helping hand and support others in any way she could. Bonnie often baked and cooked for those in need, embodying the spirit of generosity and compassion. Her faith played a central role in her life as a devoted member of Trenton First Baptist Church.

Family was everything to Bonnie; her daughter, Audrey, and her grandsons and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished forever by Audrey Clark; her grandsons, Tanner (Brandi) and Sawyer (Brandy) Clark; and her great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Karrigan, Cole, Collins, and Ridge Clark.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Verda Raines; her beloved husband, Sam R. Jeffery; her son, Sam W. Jeffery; her son-in-law, Donald Clark; and her siblings, James, Pearl, Lilly, Ruth, Minnie, and Lucille.

While Bonnie may no longer be with us, her warmth, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory and the love she shared will always remain.
