CLOUDLAND GA: Bobby Gene Osborne age 81 passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at his residence. He was owner of Osborne Hosiery and Osborne Clothing, Dallas, GA; he had been a farmer raising chickens and cattle. He enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Bertha Osborne; sister, Diane Osborne and brother, Cecil Osborne.
Survivors include his loving wife, LaForest Osborne; daughter, Mary (John) Ackerson, Charm, OH; son, James (Carol) Osborne, Dallas, GA; sisters, Doris (R.L) Robinson, Dallas, GA and Ruby (Danny) Patrick, Dallas, GA; brother, Charles (Doris) Osborne, Dallas, GA; four grandchildren, Richard Osborne, Elizabeth (Thomas) Williams, Addie Ackerson, Asa (Megan) Ackerson; great granddaughter, Miss Emma Grace Osborne; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM EDT Monday, October 6, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Interment will be held at Dallas Memory Gardens, Dallas, GA with Brother Jim Blaylock officiating.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2:00 PM ~ 5:00 PM Monday 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Salem Baptist Church 541 Scenic Hwy Rising Fawn GA 30738
