Bobby Glover

Bobby Alfred Glover, of Bryant, AL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on December 12, 1958, Bobby was known for his warm spirit, generous heart, and a zest for life that endeared him to many.

Bobby was a passionate cook who loved experimenting with new recipes, and his specialty, buttermilk chicken, was a particular favorite among family and friends. He found joy not only in cooking but also in gardening and tending to his yard, where he often spent countless hours nurturing his plants. Bobby was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching football, sharing these pastimes with those he held dear.

Bobby leaves behind a loving family, including his brother, Larry Glover, his nieces and nephews: Matthew (Lisa) Glover, Holly (Andy) Hamilton, and Ashlee Glover; and his great-nieces, Anna Hamilton and Grace Glover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Marie Stokes Glover.

To honor and celebrate Bobby's life, a graveside service will be held at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Bryant, Alabama, on October 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET.

His spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
