SOUTH PITTSBURG, TN: Bob Melvin Wilson, age 77, passed away December 14, 2015. He served as a deacon at Red Bank Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Vincent Wade Wilson and his parents, Frank Thomas and Myrtle Louise Wilson, sister Carol Hall.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two and a half years, “Noni” Wilson, daughters Lori (David) Memmen, Collegeville, PA; Mary Louise Wilson, Tacoma, WA.; son Thomi (Kathryn) Wilson, Wimberley, TX;; sisters Barbara Ann Tummins, Cleveland, TN; Priscilla Parker, Cantonement, FL; brother Michael Wilson, Pensacola, FL.; five grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EST Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church , Bryant, AL with Brother Todd Smith officiating. Burial will be held in Ebenezer Baptist Crypt.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist from 11:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harvest Christian Academy for the Deaf, 1314 Old Three Notch Road, Ringgold, GA 30736.
